Modern Warfare 4: pre-ordering from Zimbabwe
Launch is 23 October, and pre-orders get the campaign on the 16th. Which wallet card to buy for your platform, and why you should not leave it until the 15th.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 launches on Friday 23 October 2026. Pre-order and the campaign opens on 16 October, a full week before everyone else.
It is on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC through Battle.net, Xbox on PC and Steam, and Switch 2.

The early access date is the one that bites
A week of campaign ahead of the crowd only helps if the money is already sitting on your account. It does not help if you are hunting for a card on the evening of the 15th. Top up a few days early and the pre-order is a two minute job.
Which card for which platform

On Steam, a wallet card tops up your balance and you pay from that. We have US and UK Steam cards.
On PlayStation 5, a PlayStation Store card does the same, and we stock South Africa, the UK and the US.
On Xbox, we currently only carry UK cards, so that route needs a Microsoft account set to the UK.
Battle.net balance is its own currency and we do not sell it. If Battle.net is the only place you can buy, the Steam version is the easier purchase from here.
Top up a little above the price
Store prices are usually quoted before tax, so a wallet holding the exact shelf price can still come up short at the till. It is a small thing that catches a surprising number of people on launch week.
The other reason to round up is editions. If you top up for standard and then decide you want the upgrade, you are buying a second card to cover a few dollars.
Region, before you pay
Every year somebody buys a US card for a South African account because the dollar price looked better. It does not redeem, and once you have revealed a code we cannot refund it. That is the single thing the Loot Guarantee does not cover, because a revealed code has already left our hands.
The Steam and PlayStation guides tell you where to look.
Then what
Redeem the code on the platform, the balance appears, and you pre-order from the store like anyone else. If a code refuses to redeem and you have not shared it, we replace it.
