GTA 6: pre-ordering on 19 November without an international card
Standard is $79.99, Ultimate is $99.99, pre-loading opens 12 November, and it is PS5 and Xbox only. Exactly what to top up, and when.
Grand Theft Auto 6 arrives on 19 November 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. PC has no date at all yet, not even a window, so if you only play on PC this one is for later.

The prices
Standard is $79.99 and Ultimate is $99.99. Pre-ordering either gets the Vintage Vice City pack, and a digital pre-order adds a free month of GTA+.
Pre-loading opens on 12 November, a week before launch. That matters more here than it does in most places: a download this size is not something to start at midnight on the 19th and hope.
What to actually top up

Go above the shelf price rather than exactly to it. Store tax is added at the checkout in most regions, so a wallet holding $79.99 can still fail on an $79.99 game. Around $85 for Standard or $105 for Ultimate leaves you room.
For PlayStation 5, we stock PlayStation Store cards for South Africa, the UK and the US. For Xbox, we currently have UK cards only, which needs a Microsoft account set to the UK.
Balances stack, so two $50 cards fill the same wallet as one $100 card. If the denomination you want is out of stock, buy two smaller ones.
This is the expensive mistake to avoid
An $80 card bought for the wrong country does not work, and a revealed code cannot be refunded. The Loot Guarantee covers a code that genuinely fails. It cannot recover one you redeemed against the wrong store.
So spend five minutes first:
- Find the country on your account with the PlayStation or Xbox guide.
- Set that region at the top of Gemworks, so the only cards you see are ones that will redeem.
- Read the region line at checkout before you pay.
Timing
Pre-orders are open now in the console stores. Top up, pre-order, let it pre-load from the 12th. Our cards do not expire, so buying the card in October for a November pre-order costs you nothing and takes the rush out of it.
